When the days are long and the grass is high in the plains, when the milky way enlightens the summer sky, it is time to gather around the sacred tree.

From all the directions, from all the nations dancers are coming in a sacred way.

The earth is calling upon them. The sky is calling. The ancestors are calling. A buffalo nation si calling upon them.

For peace, they are calling upon us.

We will be at Alayrac, near Millau (Aveyron, France) for our fifth International Sun Dance For Peace from the 3th to the 11th of August 2024.

​

The sundance is a ceremony related to the canunpa and the natural people. It is a ceremony of renewal of the strength of life on the scale of a people, a territory. The powers of the earth, of the sky and the four directions work together during the 8 days of the ceremony to produce harmony between the people of the earth. Prayers are being heard and help comes so life can go on.
